Banned Wagon Books is a pop-up bookstore that partners with local business in Colorado Springs to bring you bookish joy. We are passionate about uplifting diverse voices and protecting intellectual freedoms. As such, we prominently feature books that have faced censorship.

5% of our annual profits are donated to organizations that actively fight book bans, challenges, and censorship in the United States.

Not all of our books are banned. We strive to curate new and used inventory that’s a blend of familiar and unique… you might bump into an old friend, or embark on a brand new adventure.

Next up—a bookstore on wheels! Our shuttle bus needs repairs, and every sale brings us closer to our goal of fixing and converting it into a mobile bookstore.
